UFI/Poison Centre Notifications

With Annex VIII of the Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation, a new label element will appear on product labels for all the products classified for health or physical hazards from 2021 – a 16-character alphanumeric code known as the Unique Formula Identifier (UFI).

UFI generation is an industry obligation. The suppliers, importers/distributors will have to provide specific product information, including the UFI, to Poison Centres.
